Strategic plan to promote sustainability

Social and environmental performance are key aspects of any enterprise. That’s why a strategic plan to promote sustainability links to stakeholders, consumers aware of social and environmental issues and, most importantly, the environmental impact of a company. Businesses are responsible for their impact and once aware, must take the necessary measures to manage and reduce their negative effects. No organization can afford to ignore the relevance of sustainability.

The context makes a strategic plan to promote sustainability imperative. European and national governments are implementing sustainable development policies. Due diligence is the new watchword. Investors also include sustainability as part of the future of business. “Green” investments are gaining momentum and sectors that no longer meet the needs of tomorrow’s world are left behind. As well, the market is seeing fundamental change. Many companies are incorporating sustainable development. These companies expect the same commitment from their trading partners.

A strategic plan to promote sustainability outlines how an organization wants to achieve the objectives that create financial, social and environmental sustainability. It’s proof of commitment. It makes it possible to draw up a roadmap to improve ESG performance (environmental, social and economic).

How to incorporate a strategic plan to promote sustainability?

Involve everyone. Developing a sustainable strategy is a process that involves several departments within a company. Each one has an impact.

Analyse your company. Examine the context in which the company operates and map its position in terms of sustainable strategies and initiatives, with a focus on areas for improvement.

Have a plan. Assess the areas of intervention, identification of commitments and objectives to measure the company’s progress and monitor progress over time.

Be transparent. Transparency is an essential part of any sustainable strategy; it’s important to present the public with tangible evidence of your commitment to sustainable development.

Social impact, obligation or commitment?: Beyond words, real cases that are leading the change in technological innovation with impact.

We start 2024 with a new series of “round tables”!

On this occasion we invite you to a debate about social impact.

At Cliclab, we want to deepen and debate the importance of our activities, and how we transform ideas, projects, companies around the impact they generate on society. We will also talk about the sustainability of that impact through the environment, the economy, and the social sphere.

Likewise, we want to promote connections between sectors, origins, jobs, etc. Therefore, the round table will be followed by a networking cocktail.

The event will take place on February 8 at 6:30 p.m. at our headquarters
(Carrer Llibertat, 11).
